Originally from Savannah, Ga, resident of Culpeper County since 1976. Married 58 years, 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Retired Business Executive from IBM (1994), Lockheed Martin (2001), and ASSETT, Inc (2018); a small Engineering business he started in 2001.
Graduate of Ga Tech with degree in Electrical Engineering. Career spanned Engineering Development work on the Apollo Space Program, US Navy Submarine Combat Systems, and Air Traffic Control Systems. Primary role as Program Manager of multimillion-dollar Development Programs.
Served two terms (8 years) on Culpeper County School Board; 4 years as Chairman.
Long time member of United Methodist Church serving as Certified Lay Speaker and multiple leadership roles including the Board of Trustees. Left United Methodist Church in 2023 in search of a church more Biblically based. Has served as Chair of SFCC Trustees since inception.
Dedicated to Mission work in Honduras serving as Board Chairman of Central American Ministry Outreach (CAMINO) since 2019. Has made 3 mission trips to Honduras.
